Sprinkler Head Burst in Northern Calgary

Here a ceiling sprinkler head had burst during a Calgary cold snap, flooding 2 floors of this building. Pictured is a wall that our team had to get creative with, as there were time constraints and limited access to the other side of the drywall. By venting in heat and air we were able to dry the area in an efficient manner. The wet insulation had to be removed and replaced because insulation becomes far less effective after water has been introduced. With new insulation and the drywall replaced and painted to match, the business was able to resume its regular daily activities after only a few short days of minor interruptions.
