Winter Storm Wreaks Havoc on Calgary Home

The long and cold Calgary winters are not only hard on us, they can be hard on your home too. This is an instance of Ice Damming, which is a result of snow melting and then re-freezing as a ridge on the edge of a roof. The newly formed ridge can stop water from properly flowing away from the structure and instead result in the water flowing back into the house. In this home, the water had leaked back into the house following the frame of the window and causing water damage all along this beautiful front room. SERVPRO was called to action, we removed and replaced the damaged drywall "Like it never even happened."
